Terms of Service
Seedhi baat: Mera Kiraya sirf ek beech ka platform hai, jahan building maalik apne khali kamre dikhate hain aur kirayedaar seedha unse baat kar sakte hain. Kiraye ka agreement aur paise ka lena-dena maalik aur kirayedaar ke beech hota hai. Sahi jaankari daaliye, aur kamra dekhe bina advance mat dijiye.
1. About these terms
By creating an account or using Mera Kiraya (the website merakiraya.com and its features), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Mera Kiraya.
2. What Mera Kiraya is
Mera Kiraya is an online platform that connects room owners ("Owners") with people looking for rooms ("Tenants"). We are not a landlord, a broker or a party to any rental agreement. We do not own, inspect or manage any listed property, and we do not guarantee that any room is available, accurate or suitable.
3. Your account
- You must give true information, including your name, Gmail address and mobile number.
- Keep your account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not create fake or duplicate accounts.
4. Fees and payments

- Fees are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider.
- Because the service starts as soon as you pay, subscriptions and tokens are generally non-refundable. If you were charged by mistake or the service did not work for you, write to us within 7 days and we will look into it.
- We may change our fees in the future. A change will not affect a plan you have already paid for.
5. Rules for Owners
- List only rooms you own or are authorised to rent out.
- Give correct details: rent, floor, furnishing, electricity meter, gas, balcony and other facilities.
- Upload your own real photos and video of the room. Do not use pictures of other properties.
- Remove or update a listing when the room is no longer available.
6. Rules for Tenants
- Use Owners' phone numbers and chats only to enquire about a room. Do not copy, sell or share them.
- Do not send spam, abuse or unwanted messages.
- Visit the room and check it yourself before agreeing to rent.
7. What is not allowed
- Fake, misleading or duplicate listings, or a wrong phone number.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech or any unlawful content.
- Asking for money from Tenants in the name of Mera Kiraya, or pretending to be us.
- Trying to hack, overload, scrape or copy the service.
If you break these rules, we may remove content, suspend or close your account, and where needed report the matter to the authorities.
8. Deals between Owners and Tenants
Any rent, deposit, agreement or payment is between the Owner and the Tenant only. We do not hold deposits or take part in these transactions. Please verify the property and the person, get a written rent agreement, and avoid paying an advance before you have seen the room. We are not responsible for disputes, losses or damages that arise from such dealings.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, text and messages you add. By adding them, you allow us to store and show them on Mera Kiraya so the service can work. You confirm that you have the right to share them.
10. Service availability
We try to keep Mera Kiraya running smoothly, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop features from time to time.
11. Limits of our responsibility
Mera Kiraya is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens between Owners and Tenants. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service will not be more than the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
12. Ending your account
You can stop using Mera Kiraya at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing merakiraya98@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts in India that have jurisdiction.
